Your radiation level pushes against your health bar

That is, the more radiation you get, the less health you can have, and not just every 200 rads either

It's like being cursed in dark souls, your total amount of health is cut down until you heal it.

Is it the same as it used to be? Stand in a radiated area, and it says "1 rad/sec"?
If so, does it display less than 1 rad/sec?

Because I always hated how that was the lowest value it displayed.
If I was running through an area with 1 rad/sec, and I popped on some radiation-resistant gear, or some rad-x, it wouldn't say anything like "0.5rad/sec", so I had no idea if rad resistance was actually having an effect, or if I was still gaining it at 1 rad/sec.

all it says if it is less than 1rad/sec is "<1rad/sec"

Well, at least that's something.
I never really knew if my radiation gear/rad-x was doing anything at all in low-radiation areas.

If I'm exploring a heavily radiated area like the glowing sea with a hazmat suit it says <1 rad/s but it's such a small amount that my radiation bar doesn't even go up.
