So, the Enclave style helmets (which you can acquire at least one by stealing from the armory on the Drydwen), happen to have the most ridiculous mod for the Headlamp.
Also, in finding this out, I also learnt that I can take on the whole of the main section of the Drydwen, without any heavy weapons or power armour.
I saved before hand though. I wasn't going to massacre the entire brotherhood over a helmet only slightly better than the T-60.
Also, my experience with Fallout 4's physics.
And why I don't travel with Preston anymore.

I didn't see it on my T-60.
Although, in hindsight, I may have been mis-reading Vault Boy as Pip Boy.
