I do not believe they have other permanent encampments in the comonwealth, occasionally they assault raider and super mutant camps with vertibirds but I don't know if they do after the prydwen is destroyed
superslayer:
I have a brute monster named slagatha who's rampaging through the wasteland, smashing everything in the face with her tire iron.
I also have a serious character whos level 38 i believe. I use a max upgraded .50 cal sniper, the cryolator, the last minute, and a few other legendary weapons. I one shot a death claw that wasn't much lower health than me using crits, felt nice man.
CypherX:
61 hours, level 51 on my second playthrough. using max upgraded laser musket, T60f power armor, gatling laser and alium blaster. main story beat under the minutemen and brotherhood quest lines. i dont spend a lot of time exploring on my own but prestons missions have gotten me a lot of the inhabited map explored actually. 30/50 achievements. second playthrough is fixing a lot of the mistakes i made when i was still green, rn shooting to try to make a bunch of large, unique settlements with caravans between them and generally see what the limits of settlements and interactions between them are

can we talk about nuka cola machines for a minute
how are these things supposed to work? is the whole machine really just to keep the 6 nuka colas that you can manage to fit in it cold? how do people buy one, do they pay to unlatch the door? I can't imagine a big company relying on the honor system for people to just take the number of bottles they paid for, and after those 6 bottles are gone what next?

vending machines running on the honor system were not uncommon in the 50's
see: coka cola vending machines circa 1950's, wherein the most common model has one door you open
CypherX:
it appears that 22 is the maximum population for any given settlement
