Seriously when I learned of the line wanderer perk I was so loving happy. I've always hated companions, they got in the way and basically could do everything I can or worse.

I like Nick as a temporary companion so i can open those master/expert locks early using his compooper skills

i like nick too, his dialogue is perfect. i just wish he could be more nonchalant when i wanted to, like, murder all of the inhabitants of goodneighbor for instance

I was originally going to completely ignore companions but then I met Nick, and Piper, and Curie

dogmeat is my second favorite. he might block you, but he's a dog so can forgive him for that
