--- Quote from: sir dooble on December 16, 2015, 08:06:04 AM ---Raider settlements would be cool, or at least some raider themed decorations, like hanging bodies, chains and hooks, heads on spikes. They did miss a trick in not including a variety of themed settlement items. Institute, BoS, Raider, Pre-war, Military, Super Mutant, etc... If I could pay someone to install some mutilated corpses in my Megaton house I should definitely be able to do it myself in my personal settlement built from the ground up. --- End quote --- Well there is the 3 skulls taped to a spiked metal pole you could make. Or you could collect a bunch of bones and place them all over the place. I still wouldn't mind having evil settlers killing good factions for fun. Like if I could select a settler to go raid a camp with a certain percentage on his chance of making it back with gear and supplies that would be awesome. |

Thing is, the Metal pole is really out of place because it is the only vaguely raider-like decoration available. And collecting skeleton pieces is possible, but tedious. They're in many many pieces, can weigh a fair amount, and ultimately are physics items, making them a bitch to arrange and likely to be kicked about by NPCs or glitch out when next to/on other settlement items. Plus, displaying the shattered remains of a person who died 200 years ago isn't the same as hanging the corpse of a man you killed yesterday afternoon. |

Was there going to be a fuel mechanic to this game but they scrapped it out? The windmill produces 3 power and needs more materials to make and the generator produces 3 power and takes less materials. Also machinegun turrets run on combustion engines like the generators. Laser turrets run on electric. |

I'm impressed with the voice work so far. People seem to have more than one voice. Fallout 3 every ghoul had the same voice, every old man, every mutant, etc. Voices seem more varied in Fallout 4. They even hired Jim Cummings that can do more than one voice no problem. I saw a normal settler with no name and he had Jim Cummings' voice. I was surprised. First no named settler with a unique voice. |
