I think you are confused. nobody (who was part of that discussion) is offended by their racism being in the game. racism is racism, virtual or not, and racism is bad. being tribal is a flaw of the brotherhood of steel, but I don't see anyone claiming that's a flaw of the game
there is a villain in pretty much everything with a plot. recognizing their problems doesn't mean you're "offended"

recognise problems =/= don't play them and immediately murder them because of their problems
forgive me if i find it incredibly funny that PC ideology is seeping into satirical games
