I might need to start a new character just to take it more slowly.

Blew my load way too fast with that original hype.

I absolutely recommend playing as Riddler

No wait until survival is updated.

Current survival is bad.

Current survival is bad.
That doesn't really mean much coming from you.

How can I figure out how many rads I will get in the glowing sea?

The current survival isn't as "hardcore" as the New Vegas one. There's not even hunger. Now there's like thirst, hunger and some other stuff as well. Also you can't save unless you rest.

Current survival is so bad Bethesda actually got off their ass to overhaul it.

I'm impressed they are going back to change it instead of using the "well someone can just mod it" excuse.

i think that list was just speculation so the 'only save on rest' feature may not be added

you'll be good if you just pack several rad-aways and go in power armor

Doubt it's more about the console versions not being moddable.

They said consoles will have modding support eventually.

One way is to go there.
I ran around naked in the glowing sea and the rads per seconds are by default 6, but additional radiation sources can bring it up to as high as 40.
Just wear a hazmat suit or power armor and you'll be fine.

I don't really see how it's "bad".
Nobody would have a problem with it if it wasn't called "survival".

Can you provide a link to Bethesda or a Bethesda employee ever saying words to that effect?
