A dude at Obsidian also tweeted this a few days ago, either Project Louisiana is another Vampire the masquerades game, or it's another Fallout. Personally I'd like both but we just have to see.

It's not fallout. They specifically wanted to do New Vegas 2.

Personally I think Obsidian should give up on Fallout, it's dead and they can't revive it no matter how hard they try.

They should make their own wasteland game and dominate the competition.

if they made their own wasteland game it would be good but it wouldn't appeal in the same way
fallout's lore and aesthetic are good enough by themselves that an obsidian wasteland game without them just wouldn't be the same

besides, if they can make new vegas 2 on the new engine with new resources and axe the voiced protagonist/bring back skills, they'd be set to make a fantastic fallout game
