Reappropriation is kind of stupid. Half of the reason why white people still use the word 'monday' is because it's been popularized as cool slang by black people. If people didn't try to re-purpose the n-word into some kind of term of endearment, it would have probably gone away like the other 80% of racial slurs that predate the 20th century.

We don't call Asian immigrants 'coolies' anymore because nobody tried to make it slang.

I didn't offer my opinion on reclamation because plenty of people from my demographics more educated in relevant matters than I have already offered their opinions on it. Sometimes your opinion isn't needed. Part of becoming a mature person is realizing that.
