Improved Fetch / Find

This addon makes life much easier, by allowing the player to fetch / find other players, while spectating, or using the F8 camera. Basically allowing you to teleport a player to your camera's position, or teleport your camera to a player's position.

I first saw this on Crowns jail escape, so I decided to recreate it and package it into an addon. Thanks Crown for the idea!

Packaged Commands:

  • /fetch <Playername>
  • /find <Playername>

Functions (some taken from the Blockland itself, but simplified for Torquescript usage):

  • CameraToPlayer(GameConnection %client, String %victimName)
  • PlayerToCamera(GameConnection %client, String %victimName)
  • findPlayer(GameConnection %client, String %victimName)
  • fetchPlayer(GameConnection %client, String %victimName)

I tested the latest build, and everything seems to work fine, but please let me know of any bugs you encounter, or anything I could improve.

Instead of putting it on mediafire, put it on a website like https://Mega.nz which is totally free and has no ads.

im sure some starfish admin will use this to drop people into spikes, lava, landmines, etc.

10/10
I gonna try it out later

How dare you
$10 per dl

implying you couldn't easily do that without this

whoops, I forgot to add an admin check to CameraToPlayer and PlayerToCamera, meaning anyone could just fetch someone to their camera, or find someone using their own camera.

Please update your version here: https://mega.nz/#!7c8DhIQB!fOWiyPB5OO-_SQoFb_5ygmrI_2xnpJ-Zt-mwOzPyAsE

The ads are stuffty, but mediafire is one of the most reliable file hosting websites I know of. When I was making my add-on category list topic, nearly all of the mediafire links dating back to even 2008 were still up and functional

Hostr is the best I've seen so far
https://hostr.co/
I've never seen one of my files disappear without me deleting them myself.

forget

i think i'll report this add-on because of the abuse potential
surely badspot will fail it and the 85% of other add-ons that can abused in some way

EVEN BETTER, you can already do this
