just finished watching a fanedit of the hobbit trilogy (9 hours) that condenses it into just 2 hours and 9 minutes
it was fantastic. really liked having it go fast paced rather than slow.
you can tell a movie is bad if you can cut out over 3/4 of it and have it still be watchable
