Author Topic: Turns out my Dad owns a GEW98 1917 WW1 Infantry Rifle  (Read 2443 times)

shoot it nerd
I plan on it on the weekend, the only problem is ammo

I've seen a MG42 at a gun swap meet a couple times, even saw a M1 Garand in mint condition too. That's one of my brother's favorite guns, aside from the Thompson.

Kaz,33$ is TOO DAMN LOW,you are trying to scam him for then selling it for more money.

And 16$ + Paperclip is the same thing.

Plus hes not selling anyway.
you need to have watched pawn stars to know what's going on

is it stattrak

Jfc it's so early in the morning here that that just killed me because I'm so out of it.

Wish I had Historic rifles except the historic rifles My family will be getting will be either

A). Russian surplus rifles ( SKS, Mosin, AK parts, SVT-40, TT-33, etc )
B). US Surplus Rifles ( M16 parts, M1911A1, M1 Garand, M14, etc )
C).  Replicas of said weapons

My family doesn't like German weapons and I hate them for that, also British rifles? Yeah, no chance. Goodbye Lee Enfield :(

Since this is a gun thread I could use some assistance.

My grandpa asked me to keep his .22 rifle in my room to take care of any wild animals on the property, all I have to do is clean it and get it a magazine. Issue being there is no stamp on it telling me anything about the model.
He said it was his father rifles so that instantly says its old, I know it has to be before 1968 because after that the stamps were mandatory.
Full wooden body, no brand on it at all. Cavity in the stock is out so I figure that's where the mag was held along with whatever else was in there. Its a bolt action rifle.
