hold on now, j'zargo was a mage and never got in my way. he never asked for stuff or did anything to bother you with the exceptional "purr".

i love the INIGO follower mod because he actually acknowledges he is in your way and gtfos

Arma AI can frustrate the hell out of you if you don't see where they're at.

Any kind of teammate AI in a competitive game are handicapped or overpowered, no exceptions.

Civ 5 AIs work by either forcing themselves into massive debt (-150 gold per turn, 0 in the bank) or by earning 150 gold per turn and never spending it. In my experience civ ai just doesn't do anything on it's own, which kinda makes the game feel lifeless and boring.
what about the ai in cold war assault?

GTA V ai is pretty much insane. Got blown up by some random cop who drove off a mountain and exploded right next to me in a adder. Didn't even have a wanted level.

GTA V police AI. They slam into you all of the time because the police cruiser has horrible breaking.
And then you get a wanted level.

Also, that little fanboy friend in Oblivion or something. The one where you are the champion.
so loving annoying.

when you are supposed to follow an NPC and they walk slower than you so you have to stop moving every few seconds
^^^^^
i hate this. why isnt the player's walk speed in most games the same speed as an npc walk?

Selvaria from Valkyria Chronicles
Ikr, but believe it or not I killed her easily with a smoke thingy and 3 snipers.

it gets even worse when the game has a walk key

the normal run speed is faster than the npc
the walk speed is slower than the npc

COME ON

any npc that requires you to go through six pages of dialoge before you can do the one thing you are supposed to do

just because you have your locked-in-place utilities say the same thing every time you want to use the bank or something does not make them feel more alive ffs

Even worse, when a vendor or something is tied to an npc that randomly goes whereever the forget they want and isn't marked on the minimap so you have to spend ages looking for them just so you can sell a pot or something

STALKER.

All i have to say, forget bloodsuckers, forget people seeing me through thick fog, forget chimeras, forget those NPCs.

You play Misery? I play Misery. It's gotten to the point where if I hear a single dog bark, I just quick-load. Not even worth it.

The GTA Vice police ai was brutal, but come on I know many of you have barricaded themselves inside of the pizza place and seen how long they could of survived, then again even bumping into a cop will give you a wanted level I remember I walked near a counter at the mall once and I got a wanted level even though I didn't go behind it.

any protagonist npc in any fps game really
they do nothing
you're doing all the work
