I'm not mad that he posted the chatlog, just disappointed.

Besides, him posting the chatlog isn't the main motivation behind the topic, there's many other reasons I've stated in the topic that pretty much got drowned out. I was working on gathering up a bunch of quotes as evidence of what I meant by "victim complex", but I eventually just gave up because I don't think I can do anything to change anyone's mind on the dude.

I'm going to be super egotistical and say I doubt the forums would be able to find much wrong in me - same with a handful of other people too.

If your political opinions and moral standpoints to not match up 100% with every single person on these forums; someone will find a way to call you a piece of stuff. There is no possibility of appeasing all sides when much of the forums has conflicting viewpoints.

...I am not looking for a romantic reward from Flat.  I barely even know the guy.  If I wanted to form a romantic relationship with him I'd ask him once I knew him sufficiently enough.  Unfortunately he's been constantly silent and most of are conversations are just "hi" ono.

I'd argue that the majority of the forum doesn't give a stuff unless you're annoying and/or an starfish all the time. I don't think people's general opinion of others goes much past appearance unless they're friends.

Of course there's exceptions to this, I don't think anyone has problems sharing unpopular opinions so long as they aren't a complete stuff about it

it was not formed by one person, and it really was not a skype circlejerk or some damn clique, it was just a group of people who happened to mutually enjoy picking on flatflyer, and have continued to do so. they may not all be steam friends, they may not even talk to each other or like each other, but they've bonded over hating one guy.

i think he's a victim because i don't see his transgressions as justification for the backlash. i feel like that defines a victim. the only way he's not in som part a victim is if he's deserved all the stuff he's gotten- and if you think so, then i beg to differ.

honestly at this point i don't think flatflyer really wants me to keep on defending him, so this is probably the last time i rush to his aid like he's weak or vulnerable. guy can fight his own battles.

The way I see it is that some people just don't like him and if anyone's even remotely not nice to him or even if a joke is taken the wrong way, it becomes a huge production where people rush to defend him. My point is that this has caused him to become really freakin roostery and frankly I'm getting tired of it
