The problem with violence is that I feel like I'm actually starting to gain traction with my parents. My mother still tries to be "neutral" and still assumes we can work things out by talking, but my father actually forced my brother to abide to the agreement I had stated originally last night. So I'm making progress. But violence would just make me stoop to his level and lose that gain I made. The same with just insulting him.
