Yeah it was more money than I'm used to spending, but if you'll take the advice of an old timer like me, saving for things like this that you love is much better than coughing out extra cash for other things all the time. Live modestly in all things except your passions.

Played a round of World of Tanks on max settings. Never dropped below 90 fps, but my mobo or chip is probably bottlenecking it.

I checked in with a few builders on reddit. They said as long as I turbo'd it should be fine.

Older msi card I bought two years ago at 115$. Did extremely well for being an older card and tided me over until I had stable employment and money saved up.
