9 times out of 10 when I see a derail relating to pie crust's "habits" it is because someone posted something related to a dog and someone goes "I'm gonna post a generic pie crust joke for the lols", then pie responds and everyone shouts "ogm pie crust stop derailing"

He doesn't derail threads that often either IMO, I feel like people just see him and go "Ew, Pie Crust, better make a witty joke about dogs.", even though he entered the thread neutrally, then he has to tell people to stop joking about it and it looks like he derailed the thread, when it's the people who can't let the past go who are at fault.

This is definitely what happens. Even OP is doing it in one of his links at bottom: Pie crust posts thread about his vacation, someone replies "did you rape any sea life?" Pie crust responds, OP goes "omg look at this derailing pie crust is doing!!!!"
