Author Topic: Google's new logo (Read 4044 times)

Looks remarkably boring. Really disappointed in the shift towards sans serif every designer and their dog have been making, I hope this dumb fad blows over soon. Like, their logo was the double story G. Now it's a goofy multicolour G that I keep getting confused by when it's in my taskbar.

they nailed the approach they were going for, but it takes some getting used to seeing the same logotype my entire life.

The idea of the colour choicing was to have the primary colours and a secondary colour breaking the pattern to show that "Google doesn't follow the rules." Of course, the fact that this new logo is part of a design trend kind of throws that out of the window, doesn't it.
