BECAUSE THE DEFINITION IS DESCRIPTIVE, NOT PROSCRIPTIVE. Here's why I'm against ideologies. You can compare feminism to a burlap sack. The sack has feminism's brand slapped right on the front. However, someone outside can reach into the sack to see what's in it, but they do not find any equality, only the opposite. But hey, the burlap sack clearly states that feminism is equality. Yes. this does not mean that feminism has anything do with misandry. that's individual people being handicapped, not the movement being wrong. there's a difference. the loud minority is not the silent majority.
What is the movement made up of? Of course not all feminists hate men. However, you cannot downplay that as a "loud majority", implying that these are just a few oddballs or that they're "not real feminists", which you have not actually claimed, but the point still stands. The movement is still toxic, nonetheless. If the subject of your "grievances" can be replaced with Jews and sound like something out of Mein Kampf, maybe it's time for reformation. Feminism as a whole is too broad to attack right now, but I will address each individual subtopic that is brought to me.
