What the actual forget, what matters is how you do relative to everyone else rather than how many marks you score in a test. If you get 45% and that happens to be an A in an exam then you have actually done very well since the grade indicates that you're more knowledgeable than everyone else who sat the same exam as you.You guys really need to learn about how examinations really work.
to all the people who are gonna post ''but a 70% is like an A where i live''then you are handicappedbecause the letter of your grade doesn't matter, the thing that matters is the scoreso if you get 70%s and think you are getting good grades you are handicapped
that's not what this thread is really about but yeah of course if the paper says 45% is an A then its an A, but its not, if 45% were an A this topic wouldn't have been made you dingus
Do you not The letter of the grade is determined by the score. There is literally nowhere that uses a different system. It goes as:100-90% A90-80% B80-60% C60~40% F40~0% DOf course there's variation, but if a teacher or someone goes like, "Oh that 70 is an A because this was so hard" is not saying the 70 is an A. They're saying they're boosting your grade up 25 points.
if we spent as much time on work as we did on the blf, we wouldn't have these types of topics.
In finals, we pass with 40% as opposed to the regular passing percentage being 70% because final exams are hard as forget. The highest grade in the chemistry finals last year was 47.84%.
60~40% F40~0% D
it should be 100-90 = A80 = B70 = C60 = D50-0 = F
However, at the college level, anything below a C is practically failing. Which sucks because if you forget up one thing, you gotta do it all over again.
