for me sometimes the screen except the bottom two or so inches of it stops responding, does this happen to you?

No the whole thing isn't working at all and the driver isn't detected either. Funnily enough using the touchscreen on the BIOS works perfectly fine.

It doesn't show up in the device manager at ALL.

I'm almost positive its a software issue because on the BIOS menu I can use the touchscreen fine
