Dedicated server cannot be entered

I've never actually been able to.
Every time I've ever tried to connect to my own server through those means, it just keeps sending a connection request and it never completes.

Did you even try to use the "Connect to IP" button?

Enter the password, and the server IP (only for you and the others that are on the SAME network as you): 127.0.0.1:yourServerPortHere

if you are unable to forward your ports and UPnP is not working for whatever reason, try using portmapper to try and "manually" use UPnP to forward the ports
