Under 60.... Celsius?
Sounds like stuff.i pay less and have jever in my life, in many builds i have done, seen higher then 40c in extreme overclocking and heavy load.
60 is the norm i've heard my entire life for overclocking :/
Its the evga hadron hydro. Itl be rdy by end of month. Ill show pics n such in the megatopic

Most mini itx have at least two 120mm spots
makes sense then that was the first case that came to mind but thats a watercooling enthusiast case

almost all my friends that overclock are AMD and i only viewed AMD guides so maybe being that hot is an AMD thing

What does overclocking do? I've heard that term multiple times but haven't actually figured it out.

its like if your engine redlines at 6000 RPM and you were to "overclock" it you would be running higher than that
the higher you go up the more wear it is on the cpu but it increases performance a lot
like i said before it will generate more heat so you will need a special cooler
i managed to get away with going from 3.5 to 4.0 on a stock cooler with an AMD 4100 without going over 60 but thats a pretty bad processor

its basically causing the cpu to do more calculations per second by running more power through it

Its basically just pumping more volts into the parts to get higher specs.

But then you should have a decent brand and model of power supply, and your parts will require nicer cooling to keep up with it. Good cooling usually requires a decent case and water.

Its that threshold of extreme gaming computer that requires you to have that budget because all parts are gonna be higher tier.

Like my 980tis normally clock at 1100. But i got them up to 1500. Beating out the titan x.
My cpu is 4.0, i got it to 4.5. Ad far as models usually tier thats equivalent to saving 100 dollars on a higher possible model.

Would a cheap way for water cooling be waterproofing my entire build and put it in a tank of cold water?

WAIT WHAT IF I ENCASED IT IN ICE

That won't work...

Ive seen builds that were submerged in a tank of mineral oil.
I have no idea how cool they stay xd

Yeah, and once you do that, you kinda can't really do anything with it after that. So if a part breaks, you're kinda screwed, iirc.

well you can its just a pain in the ass
you have to wipe it all down with alcohol and stuff to clean it off before you do any work or add a new part or something

Qell you can always update it and replace things. But somethijgbyou took out cant be cleaned very well and used on a normal dry computer without making a big mess.

Aw okay. What if I put it in something removable from the liquid so I don't have to do obnoxious drying? I wonder this because to distill stuff you need to hear stuff up then have it condense in a tube in a tube of cool water.

what do you mean
i didnt understand the sentence
you mean use a different chemical so its easier to remove?
