I heard it sometimes crashed you into the station if you're not carefull enough but eh...
I also love the music it plays while you dock. fantastic!

automated docking computers have been around for a long time
they have like a 1% fail rate, but the rest of the time they're pretty neat

i don't use them because they're slow, and i prefer my own ways of entering stations

i'm about one and a half weeks in and am just flying around doing combat vouchers. anyone have suggestions to keep the game engaging
i like the piloting aspect a lot, but its starting to be a backup game if i want shooty time filler, not cause i'm really engaged in the game.

SMUGGLING, specifically, large amount of missions from Sothis to DESTINATION
something like 1 - 9 million per mission

How to get 5 million credits missions
Step 1: get to sothis
Step 2: Accept missions
Step 3: fly back :D

I reccomend using an ASP explorer for this but I used my type 6 for that one

Whats a good jump range? Right now I have 24 jump eange thing unladen.

with an anaconda, you might end up shooting yourself in the foot for flying over 30 jumps. (personal experience with about 16ly jump range python)
Like, im running with a python with about 128 cargo slots that gives me about 50 million per run. (being serious, i've gone from 50 million to 150 mil in two runs)
I could have potientially even more, but then i have to replace my stupid amount of fuel tanks with cargo racks and i don't have that kind of time/blood on my hands to do.
But then i would have to refuel.
Also, PM me if ye want a system better than Sothis.
