Author Topic: Elimination/Natural Selection gamemode  (Read 634 times)

I've got an idea for a twist on your average deathmatch server, which is a gamemode where the player with the least points/score after X seconds(Customizable option for how many seconds if possible) is eliminated instantly. Players with the lowest score keep getting eliminated until there is only one guy left.

Pretty much duel until the timer runs out

the only problem i can see is that you'd need a balance between x amount of seconds so that those that are eliminated don't have to wait 10 minutes to play again, and enough time that there can be a significant difference in the amount of points everyone has

i think it's a very good idea nevertheless

What about some sort of (optional) handicap system in case one guy gets a massive lead and its impossible for anyone else to catch up

reminds me of those gun games where the more kills you get the more weaker your weapon becomes
