Author Topic: 2015/10/13 - The Forgettable Dungeon - Kickstarter complete $17,000 raised!  (Read 115782 times)

I'm really hoping we can maybe sneak in another $3000 in the next 7 days and reach the second stretch goal.
That would be phenomenal.

Later, will we be able to make dungeons and put them on the steam workshop?

Pledged and hope you do well with this project.

At very least skins are going to be supported on steam workshop.

That would be nice, it seems doable as long as there's a swell on the final day.

Thanks!

Did you notice how he plugs a Kickstarter in the description but it looks like stuff and has more funding than Rotondo's actually good game?

While it's humorous that he's hawking a kickstarter in his video about stuffting on kickstarters the actual kickstarters reward tiers are genius.

They did multiple $2,000 reward tiers to get your own character in the game as a love interest, and they're all sold out.

He may have thought it was at 15,000. Also a few pledges cancelled and then went back so his math may have not been off.

Anywho, the mini open world hub seems within reach. If I have some time I may make some mockup screenshots to get people hyped for it.

Supposedly most Kickstarters get a pretty big push the last 48 hours so I think we have a good shot.

During the last 48 hours I'm going to need all your help again to make a final push by spreading the game around as much as possible.

Again I can't thank all of you enough for your support.

You should update the kickstarter to more clearly say that the mac goal was reached. It might avoid mac audience immediately clicking off when scanning projects.

That's a good idea, I'll also add a mac icon to the image.

We got covered by Indie Game Magazine!

hey rotondo sorry to go off topic but when you get the mac for development, once you're done, can you help fix this issue with blockland?
Do you think the issue with the Mac version of the game on Steam not being able to write will be solved soon?
Is there a fix incoming for OS X Steam version file creation? When you try to create folders for new files, the folders get created in the OS root folder (/) and the files are never created, instead you are thrown an error.

Doing an AMA on r/PCGaming if you guys are interested, even though you already can ask me questions here.
