Maybe it could be a lot of things, but I'm more inclined to give OP the benefit of the doubt since it would be stufftier to question the legitimacy and it turn out to be true than to wind up having the egg on my face because he could be lying for attention.
My condolences, Red Spy. Losing your parents is a very, very hard thing. If you ever need to talk about it there is plenty of people here to talk to.
