Author Topic: I need noise to sleep  (Read 2053 times)

I used to prefer silence, but now I like the sound of a TV programme.

I have episodes of QI on most nights, and the IT Crowd also works too.
I can't normally sleep to music though. I keep trying to focus on it.

The absolute best thing is Professor Brian Cox's Wonders of the Solar System, and others in that series. The man has a lullaby for a voice.

If I'm really tired, I'll fall asleep... Noise or no noise lol

Yeah, nothing is going to stop me if I'm exhausted.

If I sleep in absolute silence assume I'm dead.
I always have music playing, a white noise generator, and sometimes my bathroom fan running all at once.

This used to happen to me a lot, i like to open the blinds a little and wear ear plugs.  Seing outside calms me down.

What'd you use to open the blondes? Knives? Chainsaws?
lol jk I know you mean blinds

I have to fall asleep to someone talking- like Ashens or GameGrumps or PeanutButterGamer- and the overhead light on. Pretty much the antithesis to sleeping.

just fall asleep to a black man climax

what noise are you talking about  :cookieMonster:

idk about you guys but I have absolutely nothing on when I go to sleep
almost

first I use my ipad in bed just to catch up with youtube videos, lights off and nothing else on
then I turn off the ipad and sleep
with no noise and no light
I'l never be able to listen to noise whilst sleeping, I always have it quiet so I can just imagine stuff as I go to sleep

I can go to sleep with any sound playing, or no sound at all

what I can't do is sleep for very long

I need complete silence to sleep
well, there's still the gentle hum that I always hear but have no idea where it comes from
but that doesn't count
That's probably your nervous system.

i sleep with a fan. I need the white noise to sleep.

I usually go to sleep listening to some ambient battle sound videos, since i sleep in my laundry room it makes it even more cool, i imagine i'm in a bunker or some stuff.

Nothing like the sounds of a nearby battle to calm your nerves
