Hello! And welcome to the Plants VS Zombies Megathread! (This is my first games thread)Lets get this Started, Shall we?

Zombies are invading your home, and the only defense is your arsenal of plants! Armed with an alien nursery-worth of zombie-zapping plants like peashooters and cherry bombs, you'll need to think fast and plant faster to stop dozens of types of zombies dead in their tracks. ($4.99)
    • Gameplay
The first plants vs zombies is a strategy game. The goal is to stop hoards of Zombies from eating your brains! How do you do this exactly? By planting of course! At first you may ask, "How are plants going to save me?" and that will soon be answered.
Every plant has a different ability, such as being a good wall, shooting some peas or producing sun. You may ask "What is sun?", Sun is what allows you to plant your plants, every plant has a certain cost, weather it'd be 100 sun or 250 sun. It all depends, Sunflowers are important for this. As they produce sun every so often, and you need sun to beat this game. Sun may fall from the sky, (not in night levels, however) and that is helpful as well. You will either get a plant or a note after each level. A note represent's that there is going to be a minigame next day. Most of these minigames are fun, from vasebreaker to wall-nut bowling, they throw a new twist onto the game. The game has a really nice feel of progression and there is no "difficulty spike" as the difficulty rises at a nice pace. You can really be scratching your brain on what to do sometimes, (no pun intended) .The game plays in a tower defense style, as seen in the image below.

Overall, the game has nice tower defense gameplay with minigames that throw a nice twist on thing's, it's nice and can be a real head scratching game.

That's a nice range if I say so myself.

    • Introduction
The game starts you off with a tutorial when you click "start game" and it's a good tutorial, as it tells you the basics of the game and tells you how to play it very well. Along with nice graphics, it has a nice introduction and gets you for what coming up in the future.

    • Overall
This game is amazing, it has a nice tower defense style with fun minigames, a great introduction, nice ways to play and tons of features, I would greatly recommend getting this game, if thats not enough, most of the reviews are Overwhelmingly Positive! (4,954 reviews) It even won game of the year!

    Now lets get talking about

    Quote
The zombies are coming… back. It’s about time!
Meet, greet and defeat legions of zombies from the dawn of time to the end of days. Amass an army of powerful plants, supercharge them with Plant Food and discover amazing ways to protect your brain. Play new limited-time levels for bite-sized battles against zombies from all worlds – and win prizes. It’s an ever-expanding universe of fun! And zombies – lots and lots of zombies. (F2P)
    • Gameplay
The gameplay remains largely the same, with a ton of new features! So we'll talk about that now. There's super powers, plant food, different abilities for different times, it's all new and unique! Along with the classic tower defense gameplay, it fit's perfectly and it's the best part about it. Sadly though, there is difficulty spikes in this game. And even though the progression is nice, the game goes from way to easy to way to hard if your following the way the worlds are put in front of you.

    • Platforms
    The platforms that this game is playable on is as follows;
    Mobile (Android, iOS)

Wait, that's it? You can only play this game on mobile? That's rather unexpected (and saddening).

    • Introduction
The game starts out the same and actually gives you the option to skip the tutorial this time around! (It's mainly meant for people who have not played the first one) The graphics are better and everyone feels more alive, the game is more smoothly animated and  overall looks very nice.

    • Cons
Wonder why there was no cons section in the last one? I couldn't find any! But for this one, there is one major flaw that I think we all know about. Microtransactions. Some of your favorite plants from the previous games are locked behind a paywall, for around 4 bucks a piece, and judging by how many there are, not to mention, buying gems to get the gem plants, and limited time event plants, that's a lot of money spent on one game. Proof?

    • Overall.
This game is a really good game, but it does have it's flaws, such as microtransactions. But if you can get past that, It's a direct upgrade to the previous game.

You tired of these stupid tower defense games? Then how about a shooter! With

    Shooters just got weird!
Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare digs into the trenches with an explosive new Co-op and Multiplayer action experience. Blast zombies and plants across a mine-blowing world that delivers the depth of a traditional online shooter blended with the refreshing humor of Plants vs. Zombies.
    • Gameplay
This game is different from the other two due to the fact it's a third person shooter. Every Character has unique abilities and powers, along with different walk speeds and health. Every character is different, no team is the same! There are a bunch of different modes, from a mode defending a garden to a mode where you have to place gnome bombs on gravestones and scarecrows, this game has a bunch of different modes for the shooter genre, a rather, "fresh" take on it? Get it? Fresh? Plants are fresh? Eh heh... I'll stop now. Anyway. Let's talk about the Characters!
    • Characters and Teams.
    Team plants!
    Peashooter

Main attack:A long range/Medium range pea shot. It has big splash damage area and does big damage on a direct hit. Think of it as the rocket launcher in tf2.
Abilities:Chili bean bomb: He goes boom doing a ton of damage (he has a bit of delay,) (Lures AI zombies toward him)
Hyper: Speeds peashooter up and gives him increased jump height for a limited time.
Pea gatling: He turns into a stationary gatling pea and he can shoot a bunch of pea's netting you a few kills, (if you don't shoot anything, you can unroot and not go into ability cooldown)

    Sunflower

Main attack:A fast shooting sun pulse that can do nice damage if used right.
Abilities:Heal beam: Sunflower can heal her buddies with this heal beam! (This ability has no cooldown)
Sunbeam: Like the peashooters pea gatling, she becomes a stationary shooter, except she has a SUNRAY OF DEATH AND SUFFERING.(Again, if you unroot without shooting, this ability won't enter cooldown)
Heal flower: She plants a stationary heal flower that can heal teammates while she's away.
    Chomper

Main attack:A regular close range chomp when used normally, but when attacking from behind, it becomes an instant kill chomp and swallow, like the spy's knife and backstab. (tf2)
Abilities:Burrow: Go underground at a faster speed and chomp some unlucky zombie from the bottom, resulting in an instant kill.
Spikeweed: Place a spikeweed trap that can snatch up an unlucky foe and spell out doom for them, as a chomp on them is an instant kill.
Goop: Chomper fires good out, slowing the person that got hit by it down by alot, resulting in a perfect chance for a chomp!

    Cactus

Main attack: A long range spikeshot that does extra damage on a headshot,
Abilities:Garlic drone: Cactus summons and controls a fast moving rapid-fire garlic drone. It can't survive a hit from anything, though. But on the bright side it can also call in devastating corn strikes.
Potato mine: Cactus places a potato mine that will insta-kill pretty much all zombies that come into contact with it.
Tallnut barricade: Cactus places a barricade of tallnuts to protect herself while offering the perfect place for safe snipes. She can also use this to go to higher areas.
    Team zombies!
    Foot soldier

Main attack:A fast shooting gun. Nice for sniping
Abilities:ZPG:A one-hit kill rocket with big splash damage.
Rocket jump: Foot soldier jumps high into the air with his rocket.
Zombie stink cloud: He throws a smoke grenade blinding the enemy's and doing damage to people in the purple aura.

    Scientist.

Main attack:A shot from his "Goo blaster" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Getting back on topic, it's best used at close range. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Abilities:Heal station: He places a heal station to heal his ally's
Warp: He warps to where you are currently aiming. Usefull for hit-and-run.
Sticky explode ball: He throws an explosive sticky ball ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). It does decent damage and is usefull for traps.

    Engineer

Main attack::Simular to the peashooter, it's a shot from his concrete blaster that does nice damage on direct and has big splash.
Abilities:Zombot drone: P much same as cactus' garlic drone
Jackhammer: He rides on his trusty jackhammer giving him increased speed and the ability to knock over the plants.
Sonic grenade: He throws a sonic grenade, it stuns the plants that get hit by it allowing for some easy kills and captures.

    All-star

Main attack:A minigun, like the heavy from tf2, except this one has a cooldown time when used for too long, but has the perk of unlimited ammo
Abilities:Sprint tackle: He charges into the plants doing nice damage and sending them FLYING. (Sadly there is no fall damage.)
Imp punt: He punts an explosive imp, it's pretty much an instant kill but doesn't go very far, so use it right.
Dummy Shield: He puts up a dummy shield, usefull for protecting you and your teammates in a rushdown.

i waste too much time on garden warfare screwing around
    10/10

you posted this 3 hours ago, chill

i've officially played everything in the first game, including all the unused minigames
    i really want garden warfare

I still only have the first one, but I may get Garden Warfare for Xbox 1 soon.

Anyone know if tree wisdom tells you anymore wishes after 100? I got em to 121 feet and he still hasn't gave me wisdom.

Also op, just a little suggest but putting the Plants vs Zombies sign twice and right next to eachother looks kinda weird; i recommend removing one of them
