Author Topic: My headphones broke  (Read 1416 times)

What's so bad about them? Other than being horrendously expensive, I have a pair and they're not bad. Sound quality is pretty good too in my opinion
i mean at least they aint beats that broke
stuffs fire i cant afford to buy it again

beats aren't bad for listening but they're p bad for producing because of their frequency response
ELI5, what's the difference between using headphones for producing (versus listening)?

When you're listening to music for pleasure, you generally don't care about how the song will sound when you're listening to it on speakers or on your apple earbuds. You also usually want the bass and treble to be extra-pronounced and clean, because they're the most "interesting" sound ranges.

When you're listening to music because you're producing or mastering, you want all the frequencies to be as equal as possible. The bass should be at the exact same actual volume as the highs, and the entire frequency range (even slightly below human hearing) should be audible, in case there's a really low bass sound that's messing up your mix. If the bass is really loud or really quiet on your headphones, they will sound the opposite on a balanced pair of speakers or headphones, or even louder on something even more pronounced.

p sure that's right

They're not bad for listening if you're okay with getting the same quality out of a $20 pair of earbuds as a $300 pair of headphones.

I have bad experience with skull candy
They have good sound quality, but they never lasted long for me
Each one would die after about a few weeks, even with proper care and not using full volume
