i know that no one really cares about this but i've made topics about this before
so I started ortho about 2 and a half years ago and it's been pretty complex. They initally put spacers (metal ones, ouch) between my teeth back in may 2013, and then took them out around august of that year and put in a palatal expander later that month. 6 months later in February 2014, they decided to put 4 brackets on my upper row of teeth, but then ended up taking them off in April of 2014 for some reason. I finally got my palate expander out in OCTOBER 2014, 14 months after they put it in and 11 months after it stopped needing to be tightened. Since April, they have just been looking at my teeth, and then telling me to come back in 4 months. Well, it's been almost 20 months since I got my braces off, and they've done nothing since. I went back today and they went over some x-rays and they have confirmed that it is actually my bottom row of teeth that are pretty forgeted up. One of my teeth never actually grew an adult tooth underneath, so I have I guess a permanent baby tooth. I'm also going to have to have some extractions done because I have an open bite on the sides, but my front teeth are fine. now I have to go to a different orthodontist in either lower maryland or in the middle of delaware every month for 30 months so it's going to take a while to get there. reminder, I was supposed to have my braces on when I was 12 in 7th grade, now I'm 15 in 10th grade, I really wish they stopped delaying it
