I don't think I've ever seen a deep dish pizza here in Aus

I personally prefer new york style because I'm not a fat motherforgeter who eats a truckload of sauce to get a good pizza

To be honest, deep dish is more like a pizza pie. You have the sauce on the top and the toppings inside.
