You can't compare Russia with CIA. There is a stark difference between dealing with an established sovereign state and dealing with a terrorist organisation. In addition, all of the great powers of the world have united against CIA, so to think this would somehow end in a stand-off is a bit naive.

Anonymous has not denied this anyway and it's been reported by multiple credible news sources.
Let's just sit and wait and see if it'll happen. But I'm betting it won't, and if Anonymous was telling the truth then it'd make sense for it to not happen because CIA would know we are anticipating their attacks.

"Anonymous" is not some official group where you need any form of credibility to join.
Literally anyone who wants to be a part of it, is a part of it. That's the fundamental ideology of the group.
That's why nothing has any credibility just because it's "from Anonymous."
Them saying there's going to be 8 attacks today and providing no evidence other than their word holds the exact same weight as me saying that there is currently a teapot in orbit around the earth, and that I have no evidence, just my word.
