spending money on an unpredictable outcome seems to sum this up pretty well. what happens if you dont like whats in the crate? can you send it back?

it's that you always get the same thing in a lootcrate. its similar to how a 2.50 microtransaction in csgo or tf2 or whatever isn't technically gambling because you get something every time.
