I hate these. So much. When someone makes a decent thread that actually is good, then, several minutes (or hours/days/etc.) later, a bunch of new topics mimicing the same thing appear, and it gets stale, making people not want to even go near any of them, including the original.
These suck and they're so annoying. Not only do they not contribute any humor to the original, it fills the section page and causes other users to get annoyed.
So, please: Unless your topic actually seems like it'd work and is not just making fun of another topic that's actually decent, don't do it. This includes even making fun of stupid topics, because it still contributes to the problem.
Examples of this are:
[x] AMA
best [x] 2015 (excluding XR-7's topic)
you [x] you lose v[x]
Any topic that exists solely to copy another topic and make fun/joke about it
Please note that I am not referring to topics that are nice at the time (ex. XR-7's best BLF forumer topic, you laugh you lose v666, etc.), I'm referring to the other ones that people make fun of for laughs. I've probably said this about 20 times already.
I had to get this off my mind. It's partly stupid, but I don't care. Something I think needed to be said.
