Play Wii Sports. Unless the Wii was bought secondhand, there's a copy of it knocking around somewhere relatively close to the Wii.

The Wii Shop Channel is still active the only things that went down is playing online with others. Not like it's a huge loss anyway, the only games I remember having decent online is MK Wii, Excitebots, and maybe games like The Conduit II, but even then it kinda still blew chunks at times.
