Author Topic: What career/job do you want to work (when you grow up)?  (Read 1380 times)

Well, I'm grown up already, so there's that. I'm happy with where I'm at as a programmer, but I want to get into executive management.

I'm studying towards teaching English as a foreign language. Specifically in Japan for reasons aside from the fact that I'm a massive weeb but can't be bothered to explain. I get asked about my reasons enough in College

i just want to create
this + i want to do some software programming and game development
i just love making things

can you teach me some stuff

If I fail at game design, teaching or psychology, I'd love to move into accident investigation for the ATSB.

I work as a geospatial engineering assistant for an oil / gas company during the summers, but when I graduate I will have a better job.

I want to become an author and video game designer.
because i want my ideas to come to life
start off small, then work my way up to bigger things

aeronautical engineer, a pilot or a nuclear physicist
This or go into mechanical engineering

I like working with numbers instead of words. I want to do something like environmental engineering. I wanna help make the world a cleaner place w/o making useless stuff like solar panel roads.

This. I've gotten so many ideas for stories and/or video games over the years and I want to at least attempt to make them a reality.
Either that or an artist of some kind, although it would be better if I could do that in my free time instead because I'm good at creating things if I have my mind set on it and want to do it, otherwise it doesn't look all that well imo.

Graphic designer or multimedia animator

I don't want a career, at least not for a good while.
I'd much rather do a lot of different things and be mobile than have to settle with one job, that's way too boring.
