Author Topic: help my room is so cramped up  (Read 2143 times)

Anything that puts your bed in a corner will help immensely.

Move the bed to where the desk is, and put the desk up against the rightside wall.

Is the window centered, and roughly how wide?

didn't you hear me? i toss and turn when i sleep and i forget up my blinds and they fall.

roughly 2 feet

>having your computer visible from the doorway
Rookie mistake.

That's why you put your head up against the wall. Or, you can reverse that.

Centered or no?

Rookie mistake.

my hearing is excellent. i can hide things in a span of 5 seconds ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Centered or no?

centered

So having the bed next to but purpendicular to the blinds won't work?

How about just curtains?

are there any efficient enough to block the light to my room?

Yup! Lookup blackout curtains.

Either the drawing's scale is completely forgeted up or your bed can fit fine without even being in range of the blinds
Given that you labeled your window as nine feet wide and that your bed's drawn proprtions are completely forgeted up compared to the labeled dimensions I'm going to guess the former
At least give us an accurate representation of your room before you ask us to arrange it for you

How forgeted up is your bed/window if you bed goes into it? The end of my bed hangs off about 8 inches past the start of my window. But it's fine because my window is like a foot above my bed

So I fixed the proportions using them measurements in the OP image and this would be the best layout for your room IMO. Your bed isn't touching your window and you cant see the monitor from outside.

So I fixed the proportions.. Your bed isn't touching your window
That is, assuming the measurements are even correct
See: window labeled nine feet

EDIT: unless i'm reading it wrong at that's supposed to say the entire wall is 9 feet? That's still confusing labeling in that case
