I do it without a loop.
A loop is too immature for such a serious number.

the number 2 is serious business

I don't do a loop and I write 1 like 1 instead of a l because forget the police

normally i dont loop but sometimes a small loop comes into existence on accident
truly, it is a miracle of life & loopevity

what about Z and 7, do you guys put a line through either of those (or both)?

only through 7

no

i sometimes do the second one if im writing faster as it flows better

i write it in the non-loop way because it's the correct way
in grade 2 or 3, my teacher was loving ballistic whenever i made a 2 with the loop, i got a low mark because my twos were 'wrong'.

I put lines through my sevens and zeros only when next to other letters/numbers to differentiate them or to make them stand out. I do it as if it were a period to a sentence. Looks nicer anyways.

Closed 4s and not looped 2s. Open 4s and lopped 2s look sloppy as if the writer can't connect lines correctly. Reminds me of a kindergarteners closed fisted writing: sloppy.

Is the line through the Z a Canadian thing?

I loop the 2 so I don't get confused with Z's

people actually use a loop???
