Author Topic: so why does my phone go to 2g every time I leave a city  (Read 1403 times)

Disclaimer: I know that there are providers that try to limit your access to creating portable hotspots.  I know why they do.  It just always baffles me whenever I'm reminded of it; It's just that I've never bought phones from carriers or used OEM versions of Android.

to answer plane since I can't copy the quote for some reason: zte Concord 2 which was a pretty cheap phone I bought awhile back because I didn't need anything powerful

I might just get the LG Leon because again I don't need anything powerful and its supported by the lte network and 4gb of usable storage (after Android space hogging) which is pretty good for what I want it to do.

...to give my macbook air cellular data?

come on don't do that to yourself http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Avant-Contract-T-Mobile/dp/B00N3FSWG8

i will never go back with lg after they forgeted me on a warranty that was still good.

the LG G2, G3, G4, and V10 are impeccable phones, and many carriers use them as one of the flagship phones

i had an LG Optimus G for about 3 months (after a few months after release) and the battery exploded and ruined my internals and they wouldn't give me my money back or a replacement.

what was the reason for them not helping you

they claimed it wasn't under warranty when i bought a 2 year warranty with at&t.

did you actually register the warranty with the company, and mail in the write up sheet?
did you present the warranty to them?

i was at the at&t store where i paid about 40 dollars for the 2 year warranty and they said i'd receive it in the mail. they said the company has to accept the warranty and then send it to me themselves.

they asked me to send them the warranty when i called and i hadn't heard back in 2 and a half weeks and i called and they said it was denied and fraudulent; and that they wouldn't replace my phone or give me my money back.

Zte Concord 2

These are literally the definition of "stuffty cell phone"

It really is not a surprise you are having issues, it's amazing it's even made it this far.

EDIT:  Typically if you bought a warranty through AT&T, then it's not LG's problem, it's AT&T's

so they said they would mail it and they didnt?
who said it was a fraud, LG, or AT&T?
