you cannot see anyone's signature on the forums unless they go to your profile
except for april 1st

your profile icon has to be uploaded, 75x75 maximum, no metadata

Signatures are disabled and your avatar, while the uploader automatically re-sizes the image, still probably needs to be manually re-sized to a 75x75 resolution because the uploader can be a bit strange at times

Because many of us have a longass signature that would stretch the page to infinity and beyond.
