Even if the game is dead or dying I might as well enjoy the ride until no one plays anymore. 30 hours of entertainment and counting is worth that 10 dollars to me.

I'd rather play a dying game than spend 60 dollars to get disappointed with the next Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty game.

Even if the game were doing as bad as you say for the next year they could always just make the game F2P with micro transactions. Worked for plenty of games that were near complete death.

Or better yet they could do free weekends like what Chivalry does.
