Author Topic: Kerbal Space Program Megathread (KSP) - DMP SERVER IS BACK UP  (Read 70978 times)

Well it depends, for me the game has a fairly easy learning curve for the most part.  However, it can have a steep learning curve on certain things but it's easy to learn once you understand the game's physics engine.  If you are having a difficult time learning how to do things in KSP there's always a tutorial online on how to do certain things that's easy to understand and goes into detail on what you need to do.  I personally think this game could be enjoyed by new players to KSP.

Just managed to dock a science lab to a space station I'm working on Eve.

It took me 7 hours to do but it was worth it.

i wanna get this game but im scared that the learning curve will be so steep it'll turn me away from the game, might this be the case or is it easy to pick up?

its all fun and games until you want to land on eeloo

its all fun and games until you want to land on anything
More accurate

Although nothing beats the excitement of that first Mun landing.

I'm building the god damn Express elevator to hell!

Has the satelite uplink mod been fixed yet?

oh stuff i love this game

my first spaceplane

a thing that i managed to land in the antarctic region
that bright pixel in the sky is minmus

Im planning on making a new ship, my first gigantic ship.

Here is an intro from the game where this ship comes from but kerbal-fied.

There were many great battles...
Kerbin and her partners in The Alliance of Free Kerbals...
Agaisnt the evil Kerb-Quan and its Hierarchy of Battle Thralls.
...and the Kerb-Quan were winning...
Meanwhile, on the edge of the known frontier, an amazing discovery was made...
Far beneath the surface of an unexplored, alien world...

A huge underground city...
Filled with the technological wonders of an alien race, the Precursors...
Who vanished a thousand centuries ago.
But then the Kerb-Quan fleet broke through the Alliance's defensive line...
Isolating the planet, stranding the scientists a hundred light years away from Kerbin.
They hopefully waited for a rescue vessel...
which never came.

20 years have passed...
We, the survivors of the research mission have colonized this world.
We continued our investigation of the underground city...
And we have discovered its purpose...
It is a factory.

A factory for building starships!
But there aren't enough materials to make a complete vessel.
We can finish only the skeleton of one starship.
But that must be enough --
Because YOU must captain the vessel...
And return to Kerbin!

To travel the great distance, you must push through into HyperSpace...
Find out what has happened over these many years...
Tell Kerbin of our plight!
And if the war with the Kerb-Quan still rages...
Fight for Kerbin and the Alliance, as well and you can...
