Correction. You THINK there would be less furries if there weren't as many anthropomorphic cartoons. It seems to make sense but these kinds of things don't always follow what makes sense. There isn't any scientific research on this stuff. I know for sure that wasn't why I became a furry, I never watched any cartoons with loveualized anthropomorphic animals as a kid. So at the very least that's not all that's going on.
