THINGS STILL NEEDED (VITAL)
ha ha you know the drill by now, i've mentioned it before

oh but,
what are the player values that can be used with VCE? (var:cl:score represents the player's score, but what else is there?)

OTHER NOTES
i like progress reports
they're fun to make and motivational too!

i never knew something like this existed!

damn, it's pretty useful!

the one that intriques me the most is <var:player:maxHealth> hmm...

PROGRESS REPORT
Day 5

15/100 Pit levels constructed (not as much work as yesterday, damn.)
Creating system for contributers...

thanks to our neighbourhood Moppy, finally, health potions have been obtained

TO-DO LIST
  • construct the other 85 rooms
  • gather build contributions if there are any

THINGS STILL NEEDED
blockhead parts as bricks, etc

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CONTRIBUTE BY BUILDING
Pit Levels aren't actually built: they're kind of duplicated. the passages BETWEEN the levels are what takes up the most time.

that's where you all come in!

I'm going to leave a .bls file of a save 25000 bricks in the air. It's entirely default, so you don't need any custom mods.

  • IF you want to contribute by building a passageway, download it, load it, and, once you load it up.
  • CTRL-K to instantly spawn at the very top of build, to an area I've designated for building.

  • Your job is to build a passageway, that must be enterable and exitable via an 8x2x6 gap. Add lights, interactive elements, whatever. Make sure it goes downward, so you may have to build it from the exit up.
  • You don't have to make it look dungeon-ey, but it should look good.
  • There's more instructions in the save, on the area, but that's basically the gist of it.
  • Afterwards, save the build, give it a name DIFFERENT from the name of the original save, and PM me with a link.
  • Do not spend too much time on this, you have days at most.
  • Credit will be given.

NOTE: BEFORE DOING ANY BUILDING WITH THE BUILD, YOU MUST THROW YOURSELF OFF THE 64x STACK UNTIL YOU LAND ON THE ENVIRONMENT FLOOR, (AND PROBABLY DIE) SO ALL OF THE 64 CUBES ARE GHOSTED.

IF NOT, THE MOMENT YOU HAMMER A BRICK, EVERYTHING DE-GHOSTS. AND YOU'LL HAVE TO CLEAR ALL BRICKS AND LOAD IT UP AGAIN.

Get the flintlock weps

PROGRESS REPORT
Day 6

21/100 Pit levels constructed
woohoo 1/5 of the way there

TO-DO LIST
  • construct the other 79 rooms
  • do a bunch of other stuff that doesn't come to mind

OTHER NOTES
that was tiring

woohoo 1/5 of the way there
um actually you forgot the extra 1/100, it'd be 21/100 not 1/5

dude this looks freakin radical
good luck on it

btw how about quake weapons from bushido? or are you just going for an older weapon style? also are ammo based weapons ok?

this was such a good idea, thank you for doing this

I hope it is successful

PROGRESS REPORT
Day 7

it's getting tense down here

25/100 Pit levels constructed
hooray 1/4 done

also the download link for the build contribution save is changed to a more optimized version

also now i'm using jes00's potions so that's fantastic

TO-DO LIST
  • construct the other 75 rooms
  • figure out a system to figure out what weapons to use
  • do a bunch of other stuff that doesn't come to mind

OTHER NOTES
i'm building this 25000 bricks in the air

i think the brickcount so far is in the 20k-30k
now multiply that by four

um actually you forgot the extra 1/100, it'd be 21/100 not 1/5

btw how about quake weapons from bushido? or are you just going for an older weapon style? also are ammo based weapons ok?
not a fan of ammo based weapons
not too sure what the weapon direction will be, although some have been assembled
trial and error, i suppose, will help
to see which weapons work best

I hope it is successful
me too

-completely what you're already doing haha-

PROGRESS REPORT
Day 8

30/100 Pit levels constructed
cool shopping stuff

TO-DO LIST
  • construct the other 70 rooms
  • do a bunch of other stuff that doesn't come to mind

OTHER NOTES
right now the pit is about 800 bricks tall or so

PROGRESS REPORT
Day 9

great evening for going underground

34/100 Pit levels constructed
just over 1/3

TO-DO LIST
  • construct the other 66 rooms
  • do a bunch of other stuff that doesn't come to mind

OTHER NOTES
i was interested in melee weapons but it's pretty clear that's not going to happen, as there's very little decent melee packs
dueling weapons caught my interest but... nah...

which means i hope you like magic and guns

old school colorful weapons have potential, and also perhaps
quake weapons from bushido

besides that i looked into item icons though since old school colorful weapons doesn't have them
and that just looks uncool

so i learned how to make them, so that's cool now
