yeah it's really strange to me that he's a neurosurgeon and still denies science but i guess it doesn't really hurt his job ability

It might not affect his "job ability" very much but one thing it certainly hurts would be the entire world. 4 more years of doing absolutely nothing about climate change would do nothing but bring us further towards literally killing ourselves off because of the stupidity of a few powerful people.

Did you know its possible to be extremely well educated and believe in a deity? Not every person well studied in a field of science is going to be atheist.

Except they're not two separate beleifs in that regard. Otherwise he should be conflicted with himself. Somehow he's derived through the science he practices reasonable explanations on the existence of a god. Saying "denies science" really irks me to no end when people say that, as if they were to say that he was denying absolute fact when there's a stuff ton of stuff in "science" that is debatable and still being debated and regarded as theory.

when i say "denies science" i don't mean it so generally, and i definitely don't attribute his belief in religion directly to scientific opinions. if i seemed to indicate that between the letters or in undertones i can guarantee you it was a mistake. by "denies science" i just mean that he denies concepts that are generally seen as scientific fact, which is his right, just not something i'm comfortable with personally
