bc lamborghinis are quality vehicles and universally acclaimed pieces of contemporary, engineering art. they're one of the last companies to provide supercar- and hypercar-level performance engines in exclusively naturally aspirated form (rip ferrari), and in high cylinder counts, while everyone else is downsizing and throwing in 2 turbos unless you're buying a centenario or sesto, you're pretty much getting what you pay for. lamborghini, among others, doesn't produce nice vehicles for the sole sake of people having a status symbol (unlike many clothing companies), otherwise the cars would perform like honda civics and they'd be making a huge profit off of each car. for example, percentage-wise, bentley doesn't make much more off each vehicle sold than ford or honda does with clothes, you see a $300 shirt that costs (like, highest-case scenario) $15 to make and took minimal to no R&D to design, whereas the designers for the tomorrow's supercars have a whole bunch of mechanical hurdles and physical boundaries to push in order to deliver something that's better than the last model. if you buy 85 dollar socks you are a fashion victim |
