Genocide is
defined here by the UN. The full UN definition is as follows:
"any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical,
racial or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to
members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its
physical destruction in whole or in part
; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and]
forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."
Genocide isn't entirely about killing, but rather, grievous physical and psychological damage and attempts to destroy a culture, religion, or ethnic group by preventing them from reproducing (by either transferring their children to a different group/culture, quite literally sterilizing them and rendering them infertile, or obviously killing them.)
Genocide is a whole lot more than just Flash Mob. Murder is part of genocide but not every Flash Mob is a genocide. A group must be targeted with the ultimate group of stopping said group from reproducing and continuing to exist.
