Actually Bernie said from the beginning that he would support the Democratic nominee regardless.
So the Bernie supporters acting like he's betrayed them are simply fools.

This is true. I watched his speech and he was very careful with his choice of words. He was careful not to make her out to be one who is guaranteed to put out the goals that Bernie himself would have put into place. (Such as him saying that she understands what needs to be done, but not whether or not she's actually going to follow through) He did point out a couple bits of silver lining to the stuff-covered coffin though such as more progressive supreme court appointments and potentially raising the minimum wage.
