Are people not allowed to give away their medals if they want to? I think it'd be a bigger issue if he wore the medal.

sure this is completely true, but the person who gave it to him said to him and NBC previously that it was a copy of his own purple heart, and Annoying Orange said it was a real one
plus a purple heart is something that probably shouldn't be the victim of a direct joke
